So sorta egged me on to making a comic using the character I designed. I now know how long it takes you artists to do it. . . . 6+ hours, few breaks.
If my eyes were anymore sore, they'd probably BLEED dry.
Long story short: I like it! Understandably the first frame took me the longest because I couldnt do Mr. Izz's fatty walk just right. . . and due to CS3 and the very commonplace of corrupt files, I had to remake the comic from the first frame up twice.
Anyways, Izzy's stomach got him into some bad pizza without any thought. Hunger can do that to people. It did with me and that burger. Damn it looked good.
ENJOY!

XD this is really funny good joke here! And I do like the character design. I have to say, the dialogue in the last panel had me a little confused-- who was speaking first and whatnot. Maybe if the talk bubbles were a little closer, it wouldn't be that way.
But all in all, this is a very charming comic and concept
Well, bright colors against brown stand out, thick outlines are done in real life and scanned in and colored, the coloring takes 5 seconds because I use the pen tool around the outlines and fill in the area in a layer under the lines.
Heh, it's a different process for me: First it's an in program sketch, starting with the head. After he's done, I select all the areas inside with the wand and create a new layer 2nd: I paint using the second layer completely. Line gets too thin: Dab a little there, repaint. 3rd: When scene is done, redo outlines for a thick constancy and add simple shadows.
Your way sounds much easier. Damn, if I had a scanner I could do that.
